Beef & Cabbage Stir fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of ground beef (roughly 1 pound)

  • 1/2 head of a small cabbage, shredded 

  • 2-3 carrots, grated

  • 6-7 green onions, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Thumb-sized piece ginger, minced

  • 1 tablespoon (or more) Coconut sauce or aminos (to taste)

  • Sea salt and pepper (to taste)

  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil



Instructions:

  • Heat avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  • Add the shredded cabbage and cook until soft.

  • Add the ground beef to the pan with the cabbage. Break it up with a spatula or wooden spoon and cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked.

  • A few minutes before the beef is done, add the carrots, green onion, garlic, ginger, and coconut sauce. Stir well and cook for another few minutes to combine the flavors.

  • Remove the skillet from the heat once everything is cooked through.

  • Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve and enjoy!
