Feta Dill Chicken Burgers
Ingredients
Roughly 1lb of ground chicken
½ crumbled feta
½ cup tightly packed green onion, chopped
½ cup fresh dill, chopped
¼ fresh parsley, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon sea salt or Himalayan
1-2 tablespoons avocado oil
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, crumbled feta, chopped green onions, chopped dill, chopped parsley, minced garlic, dried oregano, and sal and mix well.
Divide the mixture into four equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty, making sure they are compact and hold together well.
Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the chicken patties in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, or until golden brown. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). You can use a lid on your pan to help better cook the center of the burgers.
Flip the patties over using a spatula and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes on the other side, or until the chicken is fully cooked through and the patties are golden brown on both sides.
Once cooked through, remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a plate.
