Feta Dill Chicken Burgers

Ingredients

  • Roughly 1lb of ground chicken 

  • ½ crumbled feta 

  • ½ cup tightly packed green onion, chopped

  • ½ cup fresh dill, chopped 

  • ¼ fresh parsley, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano 

  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt or Himalayan 

  • 1-2 tablespoons avocado oil 


Directions: 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, crumbled feta, chopped green onions, chopped dill, chopped parsley, minced garlic, dried oregano, and sal and mix well.

  • Divide the mixture into four equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty, making sure they are compact and hold together well.

  • Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the chicken patties in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, or until golden brown. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). You can use a lid on your pan to help better cook the center of the burgers.

  • Flip the patties over using a spatula and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes on the other side, or until the chicken is fully cooked through and the patties are golden brown on both sides.

  • Once cooked through, remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a plate.

  • Enjoy!
